Last week I was lucky enough to take part in a week long watercolour course with the lovely John Wells at SCA. His classes were very relaxed and despite the fact I was painting vintage bambis and pet bunnies (this was something everyone was very curious about, and for the record: No, I don’t have any kids, I JUST LIKE ANIMALS!) when all the other ladies were painting far- away holiday destinations and daisy fields, he did a great job feigning an interest in my pastel coloured creations. I have dabbled in painting before but doing something like this is a great way to learn a proper technique and pick up little tips and tricks from the people around you.
