We spent a very nice holiday week with our friends Rene and Doreen, who are visiting Australia from Berlin. When we were in Berlin last, Rene was kind enough to spend a day showing us around Berlin and its surrounds, so it was nice to be able to do the same for them here.

We visited a lot of the usual tourist traps and spent a very crowded day at the Blue mountains on the sunday after christmas.

And we could think of no better place to be for New Years Eve than Luna Park. It was an amazing view for the fire works and we spent a good hour in a queue for the 30 second long rollercoaster ride, as you do!

During our holiday time we spent a few days at our beach house on the south coast. We even spied a few bunnies in the backyard!

We also were lucky enough to have a few perfect beach days.

Which Wilfy quite enjoyed.

And we toured the area showing R & D the beautiful coast line.

We met some Pelicans.

Visited this cute little creek.

Ate lots of ice cream.

And surfed a few waves (not really us, just Wilfred).

We ate an amazing burger at Pilgrims Vegetarian in Milton.

And drove slowly back up the coast, stopping along the way at most beaches for a look.

It was a lovely way to spend our time off work. It really makes you appreciate how lovely Australia is, particularly our coastline, when others are seeing it for the first time and being wowed by its beauty. Kx
