Happy Birthday To Me

Yesterday was my birthday and here is what we ate to celebrate!

and here is what I wore, and the bat necklace Lynd’s gave me from one of my favourite jewellery brands Les Nereides.

And this is the beautiful Orla Kiely radio I now also own, thanks to Christina.

And this is what I doing right now. Packing.

For my very best birthday present, Tokyo! Trev felt it was time I saw the sights and we’re leaving for a ten day trip to Japan tonight! (image found via this blog)

Good Things Lately…

Some good things happened lately…

We carried all our possessions across the road into a new little terrace house.

We said a sad little goodbye to a very empty house we called home for almost a year.

And then said “hello” to our amazing new backyard mural,

a sunny little courtyard,

and saturday breakfasts in the sunshine.

And I was happily reunited with a fireplace to take photos on! The new plate photos are looking cuter now.

We took some trips to Ikea and fit a lot in a tiny car!

We tried out a new kitchen and cooked what is clearly required for this weather! Vegie soup!

And then we all snuggled up on the couch in a new home (some took up a little more space than others). Kx

Me and Oli Pop Up Shop

One of our very lovely friends Lalita is the brains and braun behind Sydney’s Me and Oli, a beautiful clothing brand with illustrated themes like Australian Animals and forest creatures. How could we not like that? You might remember me raving about her cool new wesbsite a little while back, but this time its an in-person shopping experience being offered up.

Me and Oli is having a pop-up shop at Sydney’s Gaffa Gallery for this week only. Pop in tonight (thursday) for the launch party or check it all out over the weekend too. Lalita will be working on an amazing LIVE drawing for the time she’s there and also be showing off her range of dresses, tops and totes. There will be MANY goodies on offer, custom fittings and lots beautiful things to see and buy for the animal lover, fashion savvy and everyday admirer of all things lovely!
