We’re going to the zoo, zoo, zoo….
Well, technically we’ve already been. We were on a mission to see the baby hippo that was born a few weeks ago…
But alas, due to ridiculously confusing Zoo signage we spent the morning waiting around for a baby that never came. Anyway here are some of the funny animals I snapped throughout the day.
Don’t think I’m the only one who would find this a little disturbing…
The other reason we went to the zoo. The famous baby elephant! Mr Shuffles. He was so cheeky and adorable, we watched him for a long time.

Ahh meerkats. The cutest things we saw all day (except the TINY feathertail gliders which were WAY to quick to catch on film, SO want one now). I only wish is that we had sloths, owls and deers at the zoos here! Kx

Seeing pictures of the baby hippo, he is RIDICULOUSLY cute and almost doesn’t look real, he’s like some animatronic creature from a movie. I follow Mr Shuffles on Twitter – he’s quite a character! How does he text with big clumpy elephant toes??

I loved the sugar tail gliders too they were amazing!! – I’m sure we used to be crazy for them when we were kids – might have even got mum to paint on a sweat shirt for me??
