50′s Fair

Today we went down to the 50′s Fair at Rose Seidler House and it was a beautiful day. There were lots of cute stalls of things to buy and things to see. There were also so many people in fantastic outfits! This was probably the highlight for me, along with seeing all the cute junk at all the stalls. Kx

The Greatest Bambi Ever

Prepare yourself, because I believe this is just about the coolest thing I’ve ever bought. A GIANT CERAMIC BAMBI. He’s almost 40cm tall, in amazing condition and I think I almost died when I saw him. You know how sometimes you find something so unbelievably good you look around to make sure no one else has seen it? Well that was me with this baby! I couldn’t get him in my hot little hands quick enough and now he’s all mine! I really think my life is complete now. Sigh. Kx
Roll up, Roll up! The Circus Has Arrived.

Made by White spent a good part of this week, drawing, designing, making and installing this wonderful circus window at Sydney’s best shop – made590. We always feel really thankful that there are people like Christina who have a great sense of humor and like to have a bit of fun with their shop window (and we do think the customers appreciate it too), But better yet we get to be involved in the creation of it too. We thought the vinyl design was the best thing ever until we set eyes on the mannequins, they match just perfectly and are just a little bit (ok, a lot) creepy too! Thank you made590 for allowing us to cover your window with Made by White goodness!!
Make sure you take a visit to South King Street, Newtown and check it out in person, so much fun!

Vintage Wall Birds

Anyone who knows me knows I am quite partial to a little ceramic animal or twelve, But these are something special. These birdies are completely cute (the wade swallows are actually miniatures!) and still in their original packaging (which I absolutely love). I am especially fond of the ugly duckling set though, which I found on Etsy a few months ago for an absolute bargain price. Kx
