Shit London Souvenirs

Now I’m not putting shit on London because I know that the Aussies have some of the worst souvenirs there are – but this one caught my attention for being really horrible. As if the quote isn’t bad enough and if my “friend” went to London and bought this “lousy” tshirt for me they would no longer be a friend! But most of all, the worst thing about this tshirt is the fact that it uses COMIC SANS FONT the absolute worst font ever invented !!! Stay tuned for some cool things I’ve found in London. Even Hilter hated this font !!! Lx

Its no secret that I LOVE Camper Shoes, but I think this pair of campers is the best I’ve EVER had the pleasure of purchasing, it was the first thing I tracked down when arriving in London and even better! Campers are cheap in London so I’m thinking there will be another purchase on the way!!

While at world bar the other night I managed to snap a photo of this amazing Taxidermy stag on the wall there. He is so lovely and reminds me of the Gump from Return to Oz. Was a little worried when I realised they had him fixed to the wall though. How would one go about stealing something like this?

Caitlin Shearer Exhibition

Last night I went to a really cute little exhibition of Caitlin Shearers works at World Bar in Kings Cross. The Wall at World Bar is a great little art show that runs every wednesday night from 8pm. Caitlin’s works are even more beautiful in real life than in the prints I have and I love being able to have them on my wall. “the guilded mirror” and “I keep my own company” (above) were by far my favourites.

Dish Bunny Drying Rack

One of the best things about birthdays is of course the fact you get presents, and when you have friends as great as mine who know you hold a special place in your heart for anything cute and kitcheny, they buy you beautiful things like this Dish Bunny plate drying rack. Oh my, I am in love. It almost makes me want to do the washing up.

I am also in love with this super cute birdy print teatowel by Tinker I bought at The Finder Keepers market. The colours are just lovely. Yep, my kitchen is looking mighty cute right now. Kx

Custom chalkboard for a budding young artist

This is Melina our cute little friend who is not yet 2 years old but already showing her artisit talents on this vinyl chalkboard we made for her complete with animals at the bottom and birds at the top. Looks like it was a hit too and will keep her from chalking up the walls for a little while (i hope). Lx

Our stall at Finders Keepers

We had a super fun weekend down at the Finders Keepers markets, thanks to everyone who made it down and to those who didn’t here are some photos of our stall – we spent all week working on the stock for this stall so thanks to everyone one who came down and made a purchase. Sweet stuff

If stranded in Parramatta and in need of some sustinence head down to the Meat and Wine Company on Church Street and order dessert. These two we got last week were friggen awesome. On another dessert note, they also make the best cocktail EVER there, A Vanilla Cheesecake.

Chocolate Fondant with pistachio heart, vanilla bean ice cream and a white chocolate and strawberry straw. Yum.

Vanilla bean creme brulee with cinnamon pastry biscuits and raspberry coulis. Mmm…

Just about the only good thing that came from the grocery shopping I did today, and I’m not usually one for gimmicks…ok, actually I love gimmicks. These are brilliant though not for the feint of heart, but I think everyone should try them just once. Available at your local Aldi store, now. Kx
