This brooch has been designed by the one and only Anney B and brought to life by Made by White.
The inspiration behind this design comes from the tradition of throwing flowers onto the stage at the end of a show but I was also inspired by The Phantom of the Opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber. The Phantom leaves a red rose to show his love for Christine who he is basically stalking and the rose is meant to symbolise the joy and pain of love and rejection.
It has been laser cut from wood and has layered plastic detailing, shiny silver mirror jewel ring and hand painted fingernails!
The finished size of this piece is 93 x 33mm + hanging rose.
