About Made by White

Since the early 80's (when Kell was born) we have been best friends. We were lucky enough to grow up in a very crafty household, trying our hand at every hobby our super talented mum was into at the time... But until Made By White was born four years ago, we were never sure what we were destined to do together. Jewellery design captured us right away and after starting off hand cutting little perspex animals and simple shapes we moved on to bigger and better things... Laser cutting intricate brooches, necklaces and much more, from a range of colourful materials. Our range has grown from a few classic pieces using perspex and sterling silver, to a large range of wooden, laminate and perspex brooches, earrings and necklaces.

We find inspiration everywhere we look, creating designs based on nature, animals, fairytales, childhood memories, storybooks or just about any idea we have which we think others might enjoy too. Anything a little silly or funny we love straight away.

When we're not working we like to design, create, collect and make. We spend a lot of our free time browsing etsy, hanging out at ikea (this is more love/hate), searching through op-shops and looking for vintage goodies.

All our designs are based on our original drawings and handmade by us! Right from the laser cutting to the packaging we do it all! A lot of love and work goes in to all our pieces and we hope that they all go to a good home where they will be treasured and enjoyed. We find this one of the greatest things about having our little brand, is seeing people enjoy their new piece just as much as we enjoyed making it for them!
